Cross Country races will take place from 9am followed by the Walks races starting at 1pm. The event is open to all registered members for the 2021/22 season. The event will take place at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, home to the 2000 Sydney Olympics for Rowing. The State Cross Country & Road Walks Championships will be held independently this year.

Sunday, 31 July 2022 – Sydney International Regatta Centre, Penrith LANSW State Cross Country & Road Walks Championships – ENTRIES NOW OPEN Multi Class athletes must be classified to be eligible to compete in the Multi Class events.Multi Class events will be combined into the following age groups U9/U10 U11/U12 U13/U14 & U15/U17.No medals for the Tiny Tot/U6 300m event. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each age group including the Community 4km Run.The Tiny Tot/U6 300m is also open to all non-members, family & friends (no medals awarded).Įntries are ONLINE and close at 9am Thursday, 30 June. There will be a Community 4km Run for all non-members, family & friends (minimum age 16yrs).

All athletes must be Little Athletics NSW current members and all must wear their full uniform. U7-U17 age groups will be eligible to enter the Cross Country Carnival. The Little Athletics NSW Metro Cross Country Carnival will be held on Sunday, 10 July 2022 at Scheyville National Park in Western Sydney. Prior to the Winter Track Meet there will be a Athletics Development Clinic. The event will offer athletes the opportunity to participate in a range of events with electronic timing and accredited Officials. The Winter Track Meet will take place at Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Track. The Road Walks will take place at Woolgoolga Sports Park. Runners will then run along the sand and take in the beautiful surrounds of the beach and ocean. The course will start and finish opposite Woolgoolga Beach Reserve where athletes will gather at the start line on the beachfront.
